Centre for PD

The Centre for Professional Development (CPD) is a section of the International Education Agency of PNG (IEA).

We provide a range of professional services to the teachers and principals in the IEA’s schools across PNG.

Our team of advisors are spreading best practice in

  • pedagogy at all grade levels and in all subjects
  • school based curriculum planning
  • classroom management and behaviour management
  • resource advice

We run an annual preservice teacher training program for qualified PNG teachers who want to join our schools, and we also develop the IEA’s curriculum which you can learn about from the curriculum menu above.
