Teachers
The IEA employs both Papua New Guinean and internationally experienced and registered teachers.
International Teachers
IEA employs qualified Pre (K) to G12 experienced teachers to teach the IEA Curriculum and various international curricula. Teachers must hold a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification at degree level and full teacher registration in their home country.
Instruction is in English so teachers must be fully fluent in English.
We do not employ teachers only certified to teach ESL.

PNG Citizen Teachers
IEA employs Papua New Guinea resident qualified and registered teachers in all of its schools. Teachers must be certified to teach in PNG.
- Primary Grades all subjects
- Secondary PNG G10 and G12
- TAFE Certified Trainers
Instruction is in English so all teachers must be fluent in English.
