School Motto: “Unlock the treasure within”

The school motto is the belief teachers, parents and students themselves have on learners in our school. We believe that every individual child has innate talents that need to be developed, enhanced, and encouraged to lead to prosperity in life

Kundiawa International School has incorporated primary to its name because students from prep to year 8 are enrolled which completes the first level of education in PNG.

The students are hundred percent PNG citizens and only two percent of the students are from provinces other than Simbu.  Curriculum taught in school is the IEA curriculum, which incorporates curriculum from Australia, New Zealand, British and the PNG culture, which affirm the appreciation of students' culture in their learning.

The school is within the vicinity of the town area and adjacent to the town market. There are spacious and surplus classrooms, well sourced library with equipped with very new books. The classes are multi-aged and students are encouraged to work at their own pace. Students with different learning needs are acknowledged and catered for in those areas respectively.

The school's junior size field provides the space needed in Physical Education lessons. The two students holding hands and carrying books in the school emblem represents the diversity of the students' culture and the importance of education. The bird of paradise feather on the head of one of the boys symbolises the traditional culture, which we treasure and incorporates in our learning.
